    Pedro Álvares Cabral was one of the early naval commanders from Portugal who came to India.

      This Alvares was a lawyer – Casa Araujo Alvares. He was from Portugal too. The house is really huge, with old fashioned hat stands, and all other stuff. The wine bottles and old refrigerator that I showcased in some of the previous MMCs, they are all from this house πŸ™‚

        No, Jithin. It’s like a museum. They have converted the house to a museum (sort of) and they show this house and another place near by as a part of goan culture tour. πŸ™‚
